Sir Muhammad Iqbal, commonly known as Allama Iqbal, was an Indian Muslim poet, philosopher, theorist, and barrister, whose Urdu and Persian poetry is regarded as among the greatest in modern times. He is held as the national poet and "Spiritual Father of Pakistan", but he is also admired as a prominent poet in India.
